The Canadian Power Sports Dealers Association (“CPSDA”) is a network of professionals dedicating their time in protecting, preserving and expanding the interests of Power Sports Dealers. CPSDA collaborates with various stake holders, fully understanding that there is power in numbers and in working together in a proactive manner to improve the overall business climate and address challenges for Power Sports Dealers and OEM's alike.
The CPSDA works closely with its corporate solicitor, Mark McMackin of Ricketts Harris LLP in Toronto who acts as the general counsel for the CPSDA. Mark McMackin attends each annual meeting of the CPSDA and other periodic meetings to answer general questions and consult with the Association. Aside from Mark’s professional qualifications, he is an avid motorcyclist and snowmobiler and collects antique power sports machinery and memorabilia.
Ricketts Harris LLP shares in a long history of representing dealerships in the power sports industry as well as many other industries.
Members of the Canadian Power Sports Dealer Association who require legal assistance may take advantage of the package negotiated for CPSDA members requiring individual legal advice for their businesses. CPSDA has negotiated a 15% reduction in the standard billing rates established by Ricketts Harris LLP. The benefit includes access to lawyers after discussing your requirements with Mark McMackin who practice in many different areas of the law in the firm.
Members receive up to 2 hours per membership in legal services from Mark McMackin at one half of the already discounted rates. It should be noted that individual CPSDA members, not the Association, are responsible for the firm’s charges for individual consultations.
If you have any legal questions, please contact Stephen Bieda at CPSDA or Mark McMackin of Ricketts Harris LLP. |
